The resolution on the human rights situation in Iran is condemned and has no legal basis

Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, rejected the resolution on the human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran and its approval at a meeting of the Human Rights Council, which was completely legal. He said the resolution was drafted by Britain and other Western countries and repeated baseless allegations based on inaccurate and biased information.

According to ISNA, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to the efforts of Western countries to continue the project of Iranophobia and defamation of Iran, said: They have used human rights as a tool to advance their political ambitions.

Khatibzadeh added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the actions of the British government and other founders of this resolution, which is a clear example of abusing the transcendent concepts and values of human rights to advance short-sighted political goals, and considers it devoid of any legal validity."

Khatibzadeh added: "In this resolution, the mission of the Special Rapporteur has been extended. The Special Rapporteur, who has presented several recent reports, has shown that he acts in accordance with the agenda of the British, American and Zionist founders and uses the UN human rights mechanisms." Ominous and illegal put the above regimes.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that what has happened in recent years in the resolutions of the Human Rights Council was in fact a one-sided accusation by the founders of this resolution against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Or sit on a judge of the human rights situation in a country, but must answer for their crimes in gross violation of human rights.

Khatibzadeh added: "As it has been emphasized many times, the appointment of a special rapporteur on human rights for a country like Iran is basically unjustified and unconstructive." A country that, despite the oppressive pressures of American economic terrorism, has always lived up to its commitments to its citizens and the international community.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a religious democracy that, within the framework of its religious obligations and adherence to its constitution, ordinary laws and international treaties, is a step towards the development and promotion of human rights at the national, regional and international levels. He has taken it and in practice he is committed to observing it.

Khatibzadeh added: "Supporters of this resolution should first and foremost condemn the US government's actions due to economic terrorism and the escalation of unilateral and oppressive sanctions and their destructive effects on Iranians' access to basic necessities such as medical equipment and items during the Corona virus." And such efforts to change the position of the accused and the plaintiff will not benefit the founders of this resolution.
