Turkish prosecutor Gül called on Reuters today (Thursday) to suspend the trial in absentia of the Saudi suspects in the murder of Jamal Khashgeji, a Saudi journalist killed in Istanbul, and transfer the case to Riyadh authorities.
The court announced that it would seek the opinion of the Ministry of Justice on this request.
The next meeting was scheduled for April 7.
